Course Description:

This introductory Archer 100/200 systems course is designed specifically for customers. The emphasis of this course is on system introduction and preventive maintenance. The system introduction portion of the course will provide the trainees with the theoretical understanding of the system hardware, software, optics, and electronics. The major training modules taught during this phase of training are: System Overview, Electronics & Pneumatics, Recipe Setup, Optics Overview, Handler Overview, HLS Lamp replacement and calibration and the Archer 100/200 Diagnostic Suite. Included practical lab exercises covering major calibrations relative to the Archer 100/200 system. Cover the Archer 200 differences on hardware and software.

The course is recommended for any individual who will perform preventive maintenance service on the Archer 100/200 system.

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
Identify Major Subsystems and Subassemblies
Use KT LogViewer Application
Locate & Identify AC/DC Electronics Architecture
Locate & Identify System Pneumatic Devices
Power the system down & up
Perform Recipe Setup
Run the Archer 100 OVLY recipe
Describe the theory of White Light Interferometry
Describe how the LINNIK Interferometer works
Identify location to start the Archer 100 Diagnostics
Replace A100 lamps and calibration
Identify Archer 200 hardware and software differences.

  • Audience - Maintenance Technicians, tool owners
  • Prerequisite - Students should be familiar with general wafer manufacturing processes and have experience servicing tools in a wafer Fab environment.
  • Length - 10 days
